This was so much fun to quilt. Straight lines make the letters stand out among a background of bubbles.

Stars in the Garden
Start in the Garden was appliqued by Joanne. This quilt is really beautiful. I enhanced it by quilting background fill so that the applique could just pop out and take center stage.

The Simple Life
After a long holiday I'm finally back at it again. Santa brought me a new frame for my Long Arm. I must have been a good girl......
I quilted this quilt called "The Simple Life" for Doris. It is so cute!

Joanne rescued these antique quilt blocks that were left unfinished by someone years ago. The fabrics are 30's and the blocks all hand pieced. She let me quilt it however I wanted so I chose large daiseys to match the happy fabrics. I have to wonder if the person who started the quilt would approve of how I finished it. Scottie Dogs
My hubby came up with the idea to quilt the Nine Patch blocks using the hearts and doggie bones crossed like an X to resemble a TicTacToe board. He's kind of handy to have around.
This was such a fun little quilt to do. Enjoyed every minute.
